This was one of the four places we snorkeled. The water was about 30 feet deep in the cave. There were turtles and stingrays, the latter immobile on the bottom. Saw manta rays several times elsewhere.

Don't miss the third swimmer, lower right (sea lion). They would come up to your face, about 8" away, asking in hope "Want to play?". I always felt we rather let them down by not being any fun, due to being such poor swimmers.

This was dawn of our first morning, about 5:30. I was usually up before most people, tended to write account of previous day at this point. On this morning had splendid show from dolphins riding bow wave... only time it happened. Up to ten on bow at once, crowded like puppies in a basket.

The biggest problem with photography of animals was not stepping on "A" while photographing "B".

Roads: very rare. This leads from principal town across island to Baltra, the "aircraft carrier" flat island where the airport is, visible in distance.
