Executive Summary... I tried to move my Helpful Hints pages FROM a site which for a time only offered http access TO here at Skywoof. I made several false starts along the way. And then I decided that I wanted it someplace else.

In the end, I decided to put them at my WhatYouWantToKnow site: wywtk.com.

The main index to all of my Helpful Hints pages is now at WYWTK.com

(Some of the pages the index can send you to are on other sites. I hope the changes of base URL won't alarm or inconvenience you.)

If you find bad links, I would be VERY grateful if you were to send me an email about them! (Please cite the URL of the offending page.)

I apologise for your inconvenience... but I can assure you that I have paid dearly for this mistake! About 5 hours wasted.

So! Who cares? What good are the pages anyway?

I taught computing for many years. Among other pursuits, I subsequently spent years providing 'house calls' to support computer users.
